Our Battle against Poor waste management that is destroying our Community environment and affecting public health

  Members this was consultative meeting of Odokomit community with our lawyer, concerning the law suite against MMP Agro Industry Ltd as a result of their poor waste management practices that has caused the community health threats, threat of extinction of aquatic life from near by swamp where their waste is disposed, I am previllage to lead the team as chairperson Odokomit community, in attendance were, professor oloya, victor Obyelo Mature, Eng Walter Omara our technical adviser. Members above is the legal battle between Odokomit community and MMP Agro Industry ltd, as youth Champion from lira I am previllage for my community to entrust me as a chairperson of Odokomit community comprising of four villages within lira city west division, the genesis of the litigation started as aresult of poor waste management practices of the industry that threatens the life of the surrounding community, improper health and occupational practices where our youth are exposed to industrial hazards beca

Anywalonino Earthworm Farmers Co-operative Society Limited (AEFCS Ltd) is a farmers co-operative engaged in genetic breeding and multiplication of red worm species for manufacture of poultry, piggery and fish feeds. We are Ugandan local farmers located in Anywalonino village in Omito Parish, Adyel division in Lira District.


Our goal is to provide nutritious protein rich feeds for animals being kept for domestic and commercial use. The breeding of the red worms also provides eco-friendly waste management methods that breaks down bio waste to produce natural pesticide and rich organic fertilizer (vermicompost) for plant gardening.

AEFCS Ltd was incorporated in 2019 with Lira District Commercial Office and Ministry of trade and Industry. AEFCS Ltd is also a member of Young Farmers Federation of Uganda.
